Bringing Joy- Sunset in Lilly

Happy Friday! I definitely thought yesterday was Wednesday until 5pm when I looked at my planner and realized that it was intact Thursday...I guess I just have no clue what day we are on anymore, haha. So, I was planning on doing a full week of "resort posts" on the blog. Instead of doing that, I am just going to share the sunny, happy outfits that I shot while I was on vacation in Florida in mid January. I want to keep it light and positive on here [but if you would be interested in a pre-med with a Master's degree's opinion on the whole pandemic, I would be more than willing to write that for you!] I hope you enjoyed my unique things to do post from the other day!  If only my pedicure still looked like that 😬. Lilly dress (sold out) |   Similar Jacks  |   Sunglasses This is probably one of my favorite Lilly dresses ever. I of course love the infamous shift dress, but this one is so different, and my favorite silhouette th

5 Unique Things To Do While at Home

I am not sure what day of social distancing [it should actually be called physical distancing lol] we are on, but it is starting to feel like we have been doing this for months already 😅. Working from home or not, you are probably in need of things to take the place of your normal outings. My guess is that quite a few of you guys may have burned through Netflix, Hulu and Disney+ already, NO judgement because I have done my fair share of binge watching too!!! We are currently making our way through The Golden Girls available on Hulu! If you are already bored with streaming, books, puzzles and games, then this should be helpful. It is also great if you just need to mix things up a bit, like me! I really thrive off having a variety of things to do, so I have cultivated this list of unique things to do while we are all doing our part and staying home. Let me know if you have found any different activities! Here's some more unique ways to spend your time!! 1. Do a deep

Shop with me Sunday!

I don't know if I will turn this into a regular series, BUT I am totally crushing on all the spring things at J. Crew Factory! I feel like I have not shopped there in a while because nothing I found there was really speaking to me, but omg this spring is killer!! And, J. Crew Factory is always have some sort of sale! Hope every one has a great Sunday :) Striped shirt - Such a sweet little shirt! I love the button detail and length of the sleeves.  White jeans - I kind of want to try this kick crop trend...kind of! And these ones are speaking to me! I also NEED a new pair of white denim. They only last so long.   Gingham dress - I posted about this on my IG store, and I am obsessed!!! Navy scalloped jacket - Any scallop spring jacket is a jacket for me! Pink skirt - This does not really go with the color scheme I picked out here, but I thought it was lovely color perfect for spring!! Striped headband - Headband game still going strong

Layers + LBD

Boots [also here ]  |   Dress  |   Button-up I do not know what it is about it, but I have been gravitated to the color black during the later months of winter. I think I added at least 3 new black dresses to my wardrobe, and these black OTK boots ! That is a lot for someone who claims their favorite neutral to be navy, haha. As we approach spring (yay!), it can be an awkward time to dress because its not completely warm enough for bare arms and legs, but not cold enough for a full on sweater/jacket, etc., situation. Enter my favorite style technique ever: layering! I always have loved to layer a button-up or ruffle collared shirt under really anything. I think it adds a classic touch, and can be practical. I layered this gorgeous, short-sleeve light sweater dress with a white button-up, and loved the look of it. The long sleeve under the short sleeve dress is perfect for warmer days that are not yet spring days! It also adds a little something extra

What I'm Loving no. 13

Another month come and gone, so here's another round up of what I'm loving! The past month has been pretty uneventful, and that is ok with me! I have just been studying away for the MCAT, so send good vibes for my exam day in April! Enjoy my favorites from February- let me know if you have any questions about anything I list! 😊 Sunday Riley // On of the last Sundays in January, Sephora had a 25% off any skin care product for their VIB members. I went to the store with my mom, and we were not looking for anything in particular, but wanted to try something new. I noticed that Sunday Riley had this set of small sizes of the Luna night oil and CEO Glow serum. I picked out the set, and have been using it every day since! I have noticed a drastic improvement in my skin, and wish I had taken before and afters! The full-sized products are quite the investment, but I may take the plunge because I feel like my skin is looking fantastic!! OTK Boots // I saw these boots on
