What I'm Loving

I am going to start this series where I tell you What I'm Loving currently! I will round-up about 5 things that I have been wearing, eating/drinking, using, studying with, listening to, or just plain loving 💕. Enjoy! Leaves  // This has been my favorite fall candle since my college roommate (shoutout to Tay!) introduced it to me. It literally smells like the essence of fall, and makes it feel like sweater weather. The scent notes include crisp red apple, golden nectar, and warm clove spice. So good! I am burning the candle as I write this! Slim Perfect Long-Sleeve Shirt   // I have been constantly wearing this striped shirt. I bought it on a whim during the J. Crew labor day sale, and am in love with it. It is so soft and comfy, but the fit is just fitted enough to pair with a skirt and flats. I wore it with this outfit from this post . It is so perfect! Because it is a slim fitted shirt, I sized up to a medium (I usually wear a small at J. Crew), and it is the perfect

HELLO!

HAPPY THURSDAY! (or Friday Jr.!) Similar Handbag I thought it was time to introduce myself with fun facts about me! I turned 24 a little over a month ago, so I thought I would share 24 little things about myself. They are in no particular order; just the stream of consciousness in the order they came to me .😂 Here we go: 1. I have a golden doodle named Bailey. She is the cutest, and the fluffiest Cute, and fellow coffee lover! 2. Coffee, coffee, COFFEE!! // I have been a coffee drinker since the age of about 10. No shame!! This is the best coffee shop ever, and located in my home town! 3. However, my fall/current Starbucks order is an Americano with pumpkin spice, and almond milk. 4. I have a B.A. in Biology, and an individualized minor in Biology of Global Health. Go Tommies! 💜 5. I am currently getting my Master's in Biomedical Science through the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers. 6. I never liked white wine, and went straight to r

Falling for Fall

The other day was the first day that felt like fall!! It also happened to be the day before the first official day of fall! (which I thought was perfect 😍) I was so excited, and knew exactly what I was going to wear after looking at the weather. It was still warm outside, but it was the kind of warm with a slight chill in the air. It felt so perfect! Corduroy just screams fall to me, and a skirt is a good summer to fall transition piece. I LOVE this scarf, and love using it to drape over my shoulders! (unfortunately, it is old 😥) A vest is another MUST for fall! This one is so cute, and goes with everything! The vest is from J. Crew Factory, and is either 1-2 seasons old. They do, however, bring the herringbone pattern back, but it sells out quickly, so if you see it, get it fast! I think the vests run a little big. I have a size small in the vests, and have room to wear a big sweater underneath. I have linked the same vest, but in a different color below. Still ju

The #AFTERPARTYSALE Recap #1

I know the sale is now over (sad face) (and has been over for a while 🙈), but I'd thought I'd do a recap of some pieces that I purchased, and already owned from the After Party Sale. I'd love to know what you loved or bought from the sale! I love this dress!! I bought it this summer, and paid full price for it...but I was completely in love with the dress, and was not leaving the store without it! Little did I know it was going to be part of the sale...Oh well! I can now tell you all how awesome it is while you wait for your orders to ship. It is so comfy, and has an adjustable, zippered neckline. Everyone asks me where this is dress if from when I wear it, and they are shocked it is a Lilly dress 😍 I owned this dress pre-sale, and I love it. It is a great T-shirt dress that you can wear casually, or dress it up. To dress it up, I add a nice handbag, and some pretty sandals or espadrille wedges. To dress it down, I will wear Jacks or throw it over my swimsu

My Studying Essentials

Study Aesthetics are Important 😊 I spend a lot of my time studying. Way more than in undergrad because graduate classes are no joke. For each lecture, there are at least 50 slides, but usually more. Also, lectures are around an hour and 20 minutes, so that is not a lot of time to pack in ALL of the information. Science courses are also a bit more dense than other subjects. My motto on studying is that you always need to be evolving and revising your study methods. What worked for you in high school is not going to work in college, and what worked in college is not necessarily going to work in graduate/professional school. This goes for your study methods AND study tools. I have only been back to school for 2 weeks, and I have rejuvenated the study tools I use for success, and have outline them below for you!! 1. My iPad and MacBook Air // Get techy! Don't forget the Apple Pencil ! My master's program actually gave us all iPads and Apple Pencils. Sounds ideal, ri

MN Nice

Happy Wednesday, Loves! I am a firm Minnesotan believer of spreading MN Nice wherever you go! And before I left for the East Coast, I had to make a stop at the cutest ice cream place: MN Nice Cream!  I love this place because 1. ice cream!! and 2. EDIBLE GLITTER! I am also a firm believer of adding pops of color when necessary, and the trip to the ice cream shop definitely called for this Lilly Pulitzer Dress.  The print is called "lobsters in love", and I am in love with it! Do not get between a girl and her ice cream cone.  ~the FUN cone~ Isn't this place the cutest?! And, the dress matches so well! Lilly Dress   |   Similar Bag   |   Similar Scarf  |   Bracelet   |   Glasses ***It is also the last day of the #AfterPartySale at Lilly Pulitzer, and this Mila Shift Dress in this print is included !!!! So, go check it out!!*** And as always, #dontforgetyourpearls

And, We're Off!

Last week, I started a Master's of Biomedical Sciences program at Rutger's University. I was terrified to go back to rigorous studying, but the first week was/has not been bad! I am finding that sticking with organization and scheduling have been most beneficial, and I have been utilizing my Erin Condren Life Planner to do so!!  I love my EC Life Planner because you can make it exactly what you want it to be. There is a ton of personalization options, and interchangeable covers. When I was not so busy, I would do some elaborate spreads with different themes and stickers. Now, I have been sticking to some themed washing tape, and color coded each class I am taking.  Of course, I had to wear a gingham dress to commemorate week 1! Preparing for week 2!
