  I often get questions on my little gallery wall in my NJ apartment room. I decided it would be fun to chat about the pieces, and my vision for decor when I moved into this room a couple of years ago. Some pieces  are things I made myself and such, so I tried to find similar links to some of them. I was not exactly sure what "theme" I was going for when I was ordering things for my new room, but I was very attracted to navy, white, and pink with accents of gold. I remember getting a DM saying that it was looking like original Kate Spade, and thought bingo, thats my "theme." I love love going into Kate Spade stores, even after they rebranded, it still has all of the touches of that classic, preppy, Upper East Side Kate Spade design. I even put on an older Kate Spade dress, and tried to recreate that classic look for these photos 😊.   Happy Monday! I finished these up over the weekend because I wanted to get my 2020 Gift Guides out to you sooner than later!   Finger Lakes, NY Travel Guide This was my first time to the Finger Lakes in New York. And, it has been the only "vacation" I have been on in 2020. I had a blast!!! Here is my postcards post with some gorgeous snaps of the trip. And here is what I packed for the trip. I asked on Instagram if anyone had any questions about the Finger Lakes, and have done my best to answer them within the post! Here is my guide and recommendations for the Finger Lakes!! When to Go:  I would highly recommend going during the fall when it is closer to, or at peak leaf season. The colors were absolutely gorgeous! I did learn that the Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend in October (when we were there) tends to be the busiest weekend of the year because of the fall colors and long weekend, which was apparent on Saturday and Sunday.   Every year, I eye up all things leopard print. It feels like the perfect neutral that goes with anything. I have always loved these Margaux classic leopard flats , and it would be such a fun way to spruce up your look. I have no moved into loving a skirt or dress number, too! Especially for a skirt, you could be party on the bottom and business on top for your Zoom meetings! (I am not saying you can't wear leopard "to" work, but I feel like the pattern would look a bit too busy for the low quality cameras on our computers 😂.)   Just around the corner from where our Finger Lakes Airbnb was  the cutest main street of the town. It was lined with older homes of Victorian architecture, and lots of colorful trees. It really felt like Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls. I was just missing some coffee from Luke's and the Gazebo. It is an adorable plaid check blazer that's perfect for fall. The best part about it is that it is wool free, and is only $32! I do not often shop for clothes at Target , but when I saw this blazer, I knew it would be a winner. I also feel like grown-up Rory in A Year in the Life would totally wear this outfit or something incredible similar! These OTK boots are another piece in my cool weather wardrobe and are something that would not be completely my style, but I find myself wearing all the time. T

  We took an extra long weekend last week, and drove up to the Finger Lakes in Upstate NY. I had never been there before, but wow was it beautiful. We spent our days there hiking in the mornings, and checking out wineries in the afternoon. It was a great time, and we picked the perfect time to go because the fall colors were gorgeous, and it hadn't gotten too chilly to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. Here are some snapshots from the fun little road trip! Lots of pictures ahead! We stayed at this funky little refurbished church Airbnb . It was actually a pretty cool place to stay because it had a lot of history, and was beautifully redone. Look at those original floors! The location is pretty good too because it is between Keuka and Seneca lakes- so good access to a lot of wineries, haha.  On our first full day, we spent the morning hiking the Keuka Outlet Trail . The trail is lined with trees and the colors were just incredible. This trail is also has water falls in both dir
