  Happy March and welcome back to the blog! It has been awhile since the last post- school and getting covid again got in the way. But, I am on break this week so I am dusting off some drafts and writing some new posts! I have been loving these new arrivals from J. Crew. This gold button/Lady Jacket era style that has been in for this winter/spring season is one of my favorites. It is such a classic look that will always be in style and a great investment piece for your wardrobe. I am really eyeing the striped one but also the pink gingham one is adorable and I normally do not gravitate towards pink! I have been doing a lot of shopping and online browsing, lately. (I shared on my Instagram that I had covid 5 weeks ago and am still having lingering symptoms- so all the resting and long study breaks I have to take are full of scrolling through new fall arrivals, aha.) I am never excited for fall because I love summer and the warm sunny weather, but I adore to see all the new fall arrivals. I love how the "trend" this fall is almost back to classic style, which is fine with me because that means more shopping options!   Spoiler alert: I love feminine floral printed things. But you probably knew that! I have been eyeing this print for months. It comes in this dress, skirt , shirt and a swim suit . When I saw that this dress was on sale, I was sold (along with some influencing from my blogger bestie twin, Shelby, aha). It is truly stunning! I really love any kind of botanical or floral print, especially in blue or white. I try to incorporate these all year round, but are mostly drawn to them in the spring and summer- florals for spring, groundbreaking.  A few notes on the fit of the dress. It runs ~small~. I first ordered a medium, but it was very snug. So when I saw a large was restocked, I exchanged and sized up. So the large fits, but its a little big, haah. Its ok, better than too snug and small!   I hope everyone had a great week and great long weekend! Here we are at the weekend again! I wish every weekend could be 3 days haha. Actually, when I worked as a medical scribe, my teams' admin day was Friday- which means that I had 3 day weekends for 2 years. But after working 4 very long, busy days in a row, my day off was more of a day of catch up with tasks I neglected during the week.  WEEKLY CATCH UP: There has not been much of anything interesting this week. I have been doing a steady closet clean out and taking things to the consignment store, and I am going to start to sell some on Poshmark, here's my Poshmark profile . I did buy a pickle ball net to use in our drive way, and I have been playing almost every night with my mom. It is a lot of fun, and not as intense as tennis but we (I!) still get very competitive. February is just around the corner (already!), and that means its almost Galentine's and Valentine's day! It is honestly not my favorite holiday, but I cannot resist the colors of it: all things red and pink! I went and rounded up my pink picks to wear. I really love the nap/sleeper dress trend, and feel like these will be the lounge wear version of the usual going out V-Day dress. They are pretty easy to dress up, but you still feel comfy. Such an amazing concept, hah.  For my picks, I went with pieces that were more neutral pinks on the pink scale. I think that you can definitely wear all of these over and over without feeling too Valentine's Day in them. They could also be some good Galentine's gifts! Happy Sweater Weather Season! I am always on the hunt for cozy sweaters this time of year, but I struggle to find them. I cannot wear wool, cashmere or any sweater material like that because I am allergic/my skin is verrry sensitive to it. It is so hard to find just cotton based sweaters in winter in fall!! I scrolled through many websites to find some of the best sweaters, that I CAN wear, out there! If you also have a wool allergy or sensitivity this one is for you! It is also for you if you just like a good sweater moment 😉. First, I need to shout out my favorite sweater: the Rollneck from J. Crew . I have it in sooo many colors, and wear them often!
