I'm a seersucker for pink

How was your unofficial, official start to summer?! Here on the East Coast, we had a beautiful weekend with one day being close to 90 degrees! To celebrate the start of summer, we went to our favorite deck, and had some sangria to commemorate the season. Of course I had to start my favorite season off in my favorite resort brand, Lilly Pulitzer ! I bought this romper, yes it is a romper, during the big Lilly sale at the beginning of the year. I have been so excited to wear it since January. It is a bright pink seersucker with some cute little lace detailing at the neckline, and on the skirt. I love it! The straps are very thin or spaghetti strap like, which is great for summer because it keeps your cooler, and prevents any strange tan lines. On sizing, I would say it runs TTS that is, if you are an average height. As you may know, I am on the taller side, so rompers are a hard fit. This one does fit me, but it is the tiniest bit too short in the shorts of the

Summer Stripes

I know what you're thinking....that this is about a striped piece of clothing, but it is actually about this amazing navy and white striped pouch! We started the summer out in the Hamptons, and popped into this cute store we had never heard of before called Stoney Clover Ln . What actually got my attention is the backpack in the display window with my name on it! I saw it, and HAD to pop in. Stoney Clover is all about cute bags to keep anything you want in them. The options they have for different pouches, bag, and backpacks is amazing. Everything comes in almost any color you can imagine. I was first eyeing this giant make up bag, but then this striped number caught my eye. It is called the Flat Pouch , and it is made of this great leather. They are so many options for stripes, color, and other patterns in the flat pouch. The best part of this is that you can customize the bags with any of their patches. I wanted to keep it simple with my cute striped pouch, and had the

Travel Diary: Hamptons iPhone Pics

Here with another edition of some iPhone photos from a recent little trip. These posts have been fun because I can recap what I did, and give suggestions for things to do wherever I go! I hope you like them too! I had to start off my my unofficial, official start of summer with a glass of rosé. These were taken at sunset at the end of the North Fork. No filter, or anything. Just some gorgeous sky and natural lighting! Lemon shirt . Gingham pants  (on sale right now! I wear a 6 tall).  The reason we stopped into the Stoney Clover Lane store. My name is not very common, so this made me excited. Their Easthampton location had only been open a week when we went in! The light house on Montauk is so beautiful! I cannot wait to show you the pictures I took with my real camera! Fleece is Dudley Stephens .  This was a rosé tasting. So freaking delicious!! If you get out to Wolffer Estate this summer you must, must try the Grandioso R

Spring Looks and Books

I had wanted to document this outfit for a while. I thought of it while it was still winter, and even ordered myself a nice, new white button-up! When spring came I was so so excited to finally be able to shoot this outfit. I kept having to put it off because school was BUSY! Then I booked a short trip home to MN, and knew that I would have some time to do it. My vision was a back-drop of greenery and flowers, like maybe at a flower market. Turns out I had forgot that real spring in Minnesota does not really exist, and the "season" just kind of blends into the start of summer in late May/early June....there went my plan!! But, I still wanted to shoot the outfit. So I walked around Minneapolis with my bestie, and she suggested we pop into our favorite bookstore. It turned out to be the cutest back drop ever! I felt like a simple navy skirt and white shirt combo was the perfect little spring look. I felt so put together and confident in this outfit! I added a

One and done!

I have never been one for a one piece swim suit. Since they have come back in style over the years, I have exclusively worn high waisted bikini's because I love how flattering they are on my very tall frame. (I think my height has played into my disliking of one pieces, ahah.) However, I have recently  seen so many cute options for one pieces, and it has me re-thinking my attitude towards the suit style!  I still think that sizing is harder for taller gals, but I am going to give it a try, and get at least one one piece for the summer! Something I have been thinking about since falling in love with some cute suits is that a one piece takes zero thoughts to put on! With two pieces, you often have the dilemma of what top with what bottom, or the feeling of should I really be mixing and matching the sets I bought (probably alone on that one, but I do think about it 😂). For some reason, I am VERY excited about the one and done possibility. I have also thought about, and seen, that
