Weekend Finds- Memorial Day Sales Edition

Welcome to my new blog series! I will have a blog post every (most!) Saturdays with what I have been eyeing to shop, or what I have recently purchased. *This one is going up on Friday because of all the great Memorial Day sales* I am not quite sure on the name for this series, so do not be surprised it if changes a bit, aha. I am also going to include a little weekly catch up to start these posts. I might have themes each like long dresses, beach vacation, etc., but this week will be a round up of a bunch of MEMORIAL DAY SALES I have been eyeing! I did not include every sale I have seen because that would be a lot, so I picked places I already shop at and love! If something more catches my eye, I will update this post. I will also be posting lots of content to my Liketoknow.it . Lets start with the weekly catch-up: This week, has been pretty laid back. My godlendoodle, Poppy, had to have an infected nail cut pretty short last week, and this week she got the ok to leave it bandage fre

Getting Back to a New Normal

Dress | Similar Bag | Flats (use code SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50!) Are we getting back to somewhat normal(ish) pre-quarantine lives? It really feels that way! I am full vaccinated now, and have been easing my way back into real life. For over the past year, I really did my best to not be frivolous with my trips to the store, social plans, etc., as to be prudent about exposures for others and myself. I wanted (still want) to do my part. Now that I am vaccinated, I find myself wanting to make more plans, see more people than I did before, and just live with a little less fear! I say a little less fear because I know not everyone is vaccinated yet, and I cannot control that, so I still mask up going into stores, and I haven't wanted to indoor dine yet. But we are coming back! The more normal feeling really hit me a couple of weekends ago, when I started to ask friends to do things again. Since then, I think I have asked every few days if anyone is free and wants to grab a drink

Little White Dress

I definitely am a "rule" breaker and wear white all year round! But, I definitely reach for the color more often when the weather gets warmer, especially white dresses. I always browse new spring and summer arrivals for a new white dress to add to my wardrobe each season- lets face it, some white pieces can only last a season or two if you're prone to spilling (me). When I found this dress , I knew it was a good one! Also, this would be such the perfect outfit for the upcoming holiday weekend!! I saw this dress a month or so ago, and knew it had to be in my summer wardrobe. I loved the puffed sleeve, full skirt and length. I have so many midi/maxi dresses in my closet, and was so excited to add something a little shorter. It was a pretty instant add to cart and order. Funny story about getting it in the mail- when it came I was so excited and I opened it to find a floral printed skirt. Totally the opposite of what I ordered 😂. I got a good laugh out of it, and just th

Updated Minnesota Favorites

I never thought I would move back to Minnesota long term, but I am kind of glad I did because I have been able to go to all my favorite places, and find some new favorites. You may remember that I posted a couple of Minnesota favorites posts about 2 years ago: Minneapolis Favorites and St. Paul Favorites . I definitely still love all those places! I have also added some new favorites that I wanted to share in a new post. And yes, some of these are repeats from the other two posts, but I just love them that much! I have split it up into eats/drinks and places so you can easily find what you are looking for! EATS + DRINKS: Hola Arepa // Still one of my favorite places with yummy cocktails and a totally GF menu! I always get the arepitas and empanadas! MN Nice Cream // I love their fun flavors of soft serve, and all the outrageous toppings! Their shop in NE Minneapolis is very cute and IG worthy too ahah. Cov Wayzata // This is becoming my favorite lakeside place! It is in downtown

Styling a White Button-up for Spring+Summer

Hello! On Friday, I did a fun Instagram collab with my friend Shelby (@shelbyclouthier). We both styled a white button-up shirt 6 different ways, and made a fun reel. You should definitely go watch both of our videos, they turned out so cute. Both of us (me and Shelby), love classic pieces to build a wardrobe around, the the button-up gets a lot of attention in my closet. I have many of them I wear on a regular basis. I figured that I would share those looks here even though the photos are screenshots from the reel. I really love the looks! There is just so many things you can do with a simple, white button-up shirt. I have done a similar post where I styled a button-up, but those looks were pretty fall/winter, so now we have some good spring/summer options. Recent Reads

Dress | Flats (use code SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50 off!) I have felt like my reading speed has slowed down in the past couple of months. I am not sure why, but everything ebbs and flows in life, so we are going with it. I did want to share the few books I have finished, though! Picking out books can be very overwhelming when there are as many options out there. On the contrary, I think my slight reading rut is because there are so many options and I want to read them all but feel like there is not enough time for that, hah. So with that, here's my list, and I hope I can give you some book inspiration! What I Have Finished: - I know this is only 2 books! I think I also finished a Harry Potter book since I last chatted about reading. Would Like to Meet - This one was a gift from a friend, and isn't something I would normally pick up, but I LOVED it! Its a rom com about writing a rom com movie, and its so well done. I actually laughed out loud on multiple occasions while rea

Spring Bucket List

I realize it is kind of late into the Spring season, but I have my spring bucket list today! I have reasons for the timing: 1. Minnesota is a late bloomer when it comes to spring, which brings me to 2. It is hard to enjoy the fun outdoor spring things when it is still 45 degrees for most of March, April and May! Yes, we have had a few sporadic 70+ degree days that we have totally taken advantage of, but for the most part it is still pretty cool, and things did not start blooming until a week and a half ago. Therefore, we have the spring bucket list starting in mid-May! And summer doesn't start until June 20, so we have time! Hat | White Dress | Flats ( use link for 10% off! ) SPRING BUCKET LIST: 1. Outdoor Brunch! - I do not know what it is this season, but I have had going to brunch on the brain. Patios/outdoor dining have been open for a bit, and I am really hoping for a warm morning to go out for brunch. What is your favorite thing to order for brunch? I am a fan of really

Must Haves for Summer

Similar Dress It feels like I am jumping ahead and sharing summer things, but summer is my favorite season! I always feel like the warm weather months are super short, so I am trying to extend my favorite season by sharing summer content early. I guess it gives you time to round out your summer wardrobe before the season officially starts! Ironically enough, I will be sharing my spring bucket list soon, so look out for that one. - Striped Boatneck Tee // This is a casual classic that I reach for all summer long! I sometimes can dress it up with a nicer pair of linen pants or navy skirt and espadrilles! I also love this one , too! - White Jeans // Another warm weather classic. White jeans are just so easy to create a cute look, especially on chillier evenings. - Pearl Straw Bag // A straw bag of some sorts is so summer, and I have been lusting over this pearl embellished bag for a while! I love that its from a small women owned business based in NYC, too. - Bamboo Wicker Bag // Y

What I'm Loving no. 25

Its somehow May, and I missed my favorites post for March! Where is the time actually going? I have combine the past couple of months into one big favorites post! Dress + Roses FAVORITES FROM MARCH + APRIL Nap Dress - I finally got my hands on a blue botanical printed nap dress and it does not disappoint! This is my third nap dress if that tells you anything hah. This one may be sold out or have limited sizes left, but keep checking the site because they often add random stock to some items! Getting Vaccinated! - I now have both doses of vaccines in me! I am so so grateful for science, and to be a part of the scientific community- all my education and degrees are in biology/global health/biomedical science! Its crazy to think about how we all felt one year ago to today. Now that I have both doses, I do have an itch to travel, but do not feel 100% about flying. We'll see about that when we get closer to summer!  More time outside - I am so grateful that we were able to safely d
