Happy weekend! I have been off my blog game this week, but I am back home in MN for some time, and it's been so good to feel a little more relaxed and have all the cuddles with our dog. I feel like I have been eyeing up so many fun things as I online window shop as part of duty of being a blogger/content creator. So today, I am sharing a handful of pieces that I'm eyeing!

Dress

These Wedges - I always think I am not a wedge girly until I remind myself that my favorite summer shoe is an espadrille...that has a wedge, haha. I guess espadrilles don't feel like a traditional wedge in my mind. Sarah Flint released a few pairs of wedges in their summer collection and they are darling. This Aprés Swim Cover up - This is a new release from Weezie Towels, and oh my goodness it is darling. I love the concept behind their new collection too: aprés swim, something cute and functional to throw over your swimsuit after a day in the water. Love! Pretty sure you can get this monogrammed too :)

This Dress - I have been reaching for this dress a lot this summer. The smocked top, puff sleeves and fun skirt are just my favorites details and the fact that this makes it incredibly chic but comfy. It is currently on sale, so I would snag it now before its sold out!

Coastal Grandmother Aesthetic

Who else has been loving the Coastal Grandmother aesthetic trend on TikTok? I've been very engrossed in this trend that is actually not at all trendy and a nod to classic style, which I LOVE. Classic summer style is one of my favorite facets of classic style- linen dresses and pants, sun hats, walks on the beach and lots of rosé. This is literally me. And I consider myself a grandmillennial, so coastal grandmother is not too far off. Some may call it coast-grand-millennial ;) ALSO, a couple of weeks ago the Today Show did a segment on the trend, and featured a clip from one of my coastal gran TikToks! These are things you need to create your own coastal grandmother aesthetic, the coastal grandmother starter kit if you will. What I Packed for Rhode Island

I am SO excited to be back on the East Coast for a bit. Today, we are driving to Rhode Island to spend the long weekend and celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday (thirty, flirting and thriving, right?!). I have only been to Rhode Island on one other occasion, and that was a marching band trip where we marched in the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. Thinking back on that, it was a very surreal experience that I am grateful for, and I am even more excited to get to go back to that state and explore as an adult. As soon as I knew we would be going to Rhode Island, I thought about the outfits for the trip. It invoked a sense of the classic East Coast prep style that I already love so much, and so I took that as my packing inspiration! I would definitely take advantage of this! Here are my favorite new things from KJP. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!! Striped shirt dress // I had all the feels when I saw this dress. First, it is striped AND a shirt dress! Second, it is actually named "Bristol Parade." That is the oldest 4th of July Parade in the country, and I had the privilege of marching in it during my high school marching band trip to New England in 2010 (omg that was 9 years ago?!?). That day it was about 110 degrees, and we wore all black uniforms....if you are familiar with the parade, it is a LONG LONG LONG route, and I somehow, barely survived.
