What I'm Loving no. 20

It is full on fall now. I am still not wild about the cooler weather, but trying to embrace it with creating a cozy vibe. Last month, I really did not let myself feel fall (besides some early pumpkin cream cold brews 😋) until the first day of fall. Now I am just trying to embrace the season with all things cozy. Here are my September favorites!

How cute is this wine tote from Line and Cleat (c/o)!

September Favorites:

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads // I actually have been using these for about 6ish weeks now, and have noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. I use them in the morning after I rinse off my face, and it feels oh so refreshing. I let the product dry on my face before doing the rest of my daytime skin care. I would say that I do feel guilty that the pads are not reusable, and not that sustainable, but will continue to use them because I feel like I can make up for that in other parts of my lifestyle, aha. Here is the bigger container!

Dyson Airwrap // I actually got this for my birthday. It is probably the nicest gift I have ever received. I was honestly skeptical at first. I did not want to love it because I knew how expensive it was. The first time I tested it out, it was a total fail, lol. But one afternoon I sat down with it and used it the proper way with damp hair, and omg. I was *so* impressed with how my hair turned out, and I even made an IG Reels of me doing my hair with the Airwrap ahha. I am a full convert now, and still hate that I love it! I do not want to say that you need it, but if you are curious and have some fun money, I would definitely try it out. (Sephora also has a good return policy, so buy from there if you think you would be unsure!) I have seen refurbished tools marked down on Nordstrom Rack periodically as well!

Slip Silk Scrunchies // Ok, I am sorry, but these great. And yes, I know that it is a somewhat spendy scrunchie, but I have not found another 'budget' silk scrunchie that compares. The Slip ones do not crease your hair and do not pull on your hair! I have tried others from amazon that do these things and are not actual silk.

Tommy John Undies // How had I not tried this brand until now!?! I randomly picked up a few pairs because I recognized the brand, and knew people were raving about it. They did not disappoint, and I want every pair of my undies to be from Tommy John now. I have the Second Skin thongs, and they feel amazing, and fit perfectly- I wear a medium for reference. They are also the correct waist height for how I like my undies, ahah. Not too high and not too low. I really want some of their lounge wear, and to add this bralette and these undies to my collection! I am obsessed!!

Happy October!

A Thanksgiving Look

Turtleneck  |   Skirt  |   Tights  |   Boots Thanksgiving is only one week away! I am excited to go home, and spend time with my family and friends. This is a holiday that is HARD to dress for. On one hand, you want to wear joggers and a big sweater because of all of the yummy food and treats. On the other hand, you want to dress up, or slightly dress up while still feeling comfy. Hence, the big dressing dilemma: how to create the right look for your kind of holiday? I like to dress it up a little , without wearing a cocktail outfit or gown, haha. I created this look for a dressy, casual look. It is an easy outfit to put together, and I bet you have some similar pieces in your closet! A turtleneck, plaid skirt and tights is such a classic fall look that is also great for this holiday. It is kind of an easy dressing equation too because it is so easy to mix and match what you have in your closet, or buy one new piece that you know will go with an...

Coastal Grandmother Aesthetic

Who else has been loving the  Coastal Grandmother aesthetic trend on TikTok? I've been very engrossed in this trend that is actually not at all trendy and a nod to classic style, which I LOVE. Classic summer style is one of my favorite facets of classic style- linen dresses and pants, sun hats, walks on the beach and lots of rosé. This is literally me. And I consider myself a grandmillennial, so coastal grandmother is not too far off. Some may call it coast-grand-millennial ;) ALSO, a couple of weeks ago the Today Show did a segment on the trend, and featured a clip from one of my coastal gran TikToks! These are things you need to create your own coastal grandmother aesthetic, the coastal grandmother starter kit if you will. You probably have most of these things in your closet if you are a fellow classic style lover, like myself. So lets all live our lives as if we lived in a Nancy Meyers movie, and have the best coastal grandmother girl summer. Coast Grandmother Essentials...

What I Packed for Rhode Island

I am SO excited to be back on the East Coast for a bit. Today, we are driving to Rhode Island to spend the long weekend and celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday (thirty, flirting and thriving, right?!). I have only been to Rhode Island on one other occasion, and that was a marching band trip where we marched in the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. Thinking back on that, it was a very surreal experience that I am grateful for, and I am even more excited to get to go back to that state and explore as an adult. As soon as I knew we would be going to Rhode Island, I thought about the outfits for the trip. It invoked a sense of the classic East Coast prep style that I already love so much, and so I took that as my packing inspiration! The Kiel James Patrick store/brand is based out of Newport, RI, so I will definitely be visiting and I had to leave room in my suitcase for some new KJP pieces. I haven't had to pack for travel in awhile, so I decided to take a new ap...
