A Few Sales to Shop This Week

Instead of a gift guide this week, I put together this post of some of my favorite sales this week. A lot of goodies on my gift guides are on sale, too so make sure to check out the guides: Gift guide page, Small Business, My Wishlist, Grandmillennial, and Cozy at Home.

Check back to this post, because I may update it if I see anything else I feel would be a good fit for this post! PS- scroll to the bottom of the post to shop my specific picks!

1. Margaux Sale: 20% off site wide (with some exclusions) with code GAUXTIME. This is an amazing sale at Margaux.com. I think we all know how much I LOVE this brand. Here are some of my favorite styles: demi flats on sale for $118, boots for $260, and mules for $156

The 20% off is on the shoes and not the monogram! Just a heads up :)

2. Lake Pajamas: These pima cotton pajamas have been on my wishlist and several gift guides for so long!! This sale tends to go fast, and sell out of certain styles quickly, so shop soon if you want to get some cozy gifts checked off your list! I love this set and this set (so festive!).

3. Hill House Home: My first ever nap dress is coming at the end of the week, and I am so excited. Hill House Home is having 20%-40% off site wide! You can order your own nap dress, and one for someone on your list.

4. J. Crew: I feel like J. Crew always has a great sale this time of year. Right now if you are a rewards member, if not sign up because it is free, you get 50% off regular priced items and 60% off sale! There are so many great holiday plaids at J. Crew this year and I have my eyes on this dress, these pants, and this velvet skirt.

5. Dudley Stephens: Lemon Stripes has an exclusive code for 20% off of DS fleece! See her blog postMy love for DS Fleeces is deep, as you may know, haha! I included them now even though they have not announced a sale yet, BUT they usually have something on Black Friday. I would sign up for their email list, and then you can refer back here for links to my favorite styles: Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Brighton Boatneck, Blanket Scarf. Use this link for $25 off your first fleece!

6. ChappyWrap: Update: ChappyWrap has 10% off site wide!! ChappyWrap has this sale tab on their website, but I have a feeling they may have a more concrete sale start later this week. They are, however, offering Free Ground shipping on every order, just order soon to get it by the holiday. I am loving this blanket, and this one!

7. Our Place Pan: Ok, so I have seen these ALL over the internet, and have succumbed to getting one for my dad. He is the head chef in our household, so I think that he will like it! They are $50 off right now, making this under $100!

8. Tommy John: I LOVE Tommy John undies! Their sale this week is 25% off on orders over $100! I think their loungewear like these joggers would be a great gift. I also love their Second Skin line!

9. Tuckernuck Sale: Tuckernuck is having 20% off site wide, 25% off of $500 and 30% off of $1000! They are an awesome small business that actually has a gift for everyone on your list! They even carry a small collection of Dudley Stephens fleeces that are 20% off like the Park Slope and the Cobble Hill!

As always,

#dontforgetyourpearls

Coastal Grandmother Aesthetic

Who else has been loving the  Coastal Grandmother aesthetic trend on TikTok? I've been very engrossed in this trend that is actually not at all trendy and a nod to classic style, which I LOVE. Classic summer style is one of my favorite facets of classic style- linen dresses and pants, sun hats, walks on the beach and lots of rosé. This is literally me. And I consider myself a grandmillennial, so coastal grandmother is not too far off. Some may call it coast-grand-millennial ;) ALSO, a couple of weeks ago the Today Show did a segment on the trend, and featured a clip from one of my coastal gran TikToks! These are things you need to create your own coastal grandmother aesthetic, the coastal grandmother starter kit if you will. You probably have most of these things in your closet if you are a fellow classic style lover, like myself. So lets all live our lives as if we lived in a Nancy Meyers movie, and have the best coastal grandmother girl summer. Coast Grandmother Essentials...

What I Packed for Rhode Island

I am SO excited to be back on the East Coast for a bit. Today, we are driving to Rhode Island to spend the long weekend and celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday (thirty, flirting and thriving, right?!). I have only been to Rhode Island on one other occasion, and that was a marching band trip where we marched in the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. Thinking back on that, it was a very surreal experience that I am grateful for, and I am even more excited to get to go back to that state and explore as an adult. As soon as I knew we would be going to Rhode Island, I thought about the outfits for the trip. It invoked a sense of the classic East Coast prep style that I already love so much, and so I took that as my packing inspiration! The Kiel James Patrick store/brand is based out of Newport, RI, so I will definitely be visiting and I had to leave room in my suitcase for some new KJP pieces. I haven't had to pack for travel in awhile, so I decided to take a new ap...

New Summer KJP (+ they're having a sale!!)

So today, I got the happiest email from Kiel James Patrick , featuring some super cute new pieces, and that they have a 4th of July sale!! The sale is 20% off any thing with the code America . I would definitely take advantage of this! Here are my favorite new things from KJP. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!! Striped shirt dress // I had all the feels when I saw this dress. First, it is striped AND a shirt dress! Second, it is actually named "Bristol Parade." That is the oldest 4th of July Parade in the country, and I had the privilege of marching in it during my high school marching band trip to New England in 2010 (omg that was 9 years ago?!?). That day it was about 110 degrees, and we wore all black uniforms....if you are familiar with the parade, it is a LONG LONG LONG route, and I somehow, barely survived. So, I think I need this dress for (just about) surviving that day, ahah! Flag sweater  // What a cute little flag sweater! I normally am not one ...
