My Gallery Wall

I often get questions on my little gallery wall in my NJ apartment room. I decided it would be fun to chat about the pieces, and my vision for decor when I moved into this room a couple of years ago. Some pieces  are things I made myself and such, so I tried to find similar links to some of them. I was not exactly sure what "theme" I was going for when I was ordering things for my new room, but I was very attracted to navy, white, and pink with accents of gold. I remember getting a DM saying that it was looking like original Kate Spade, and thought bingo, thats my "theme." I love love going into Kate Spade stores, even after they rebranded, it still has all of the touches of that classic, preppy, Upper East Side Kate Spade design. I even put on an older Kate Spade dress, and tried to recreate that classic look for these photos 😊. Pretty much everything in my room is navy and white (with some pinks and gold)- bedding, desk, shelves, storage cart, etc. I have this ...

Flannel for Fall

Dress  |   Boots  |   Similar Sunglasses Last weekend, I had some fall fun, and crossed quite a few things off of my Fall Bucket List ! We went to a farm in New Jersey that had various activities, treats and of course, pumpkins! Everyone was wearing a mask, and we only took ours off when absolutely no one was around, like during the corn maze. How adorable is the pumpkin house at the farm?! Definitely made for a photo op, but it was cute and I was here for it, haha.  It was a beautiful October day, and I had to wear my favorite fall dress . It is from Kiel James Patrick , and has been a staple in my cool weather wardrobe for a couple of years now. I love the cozy, quality flannel and supporting a small business where everything is made in the US! I paired it with my Bean Boots for an easy fall outfit. I did bring tights along, but did not need them because the sun was quite warm.  I love that this is a plaid that does not look too Christmas-y, and...

Fall is for Apples

Skirt  |   Sweater  |   Similar Plaid Shirt  |   Boots   Happy (almost) Fall! Technically, the first day of fall is September, 23, and its still summer. BUT it is apple season, so that makes it more fall-like. The other day I put on my best fall outfit, and headed to the apple orchard! I chose this J. Crew Factory corduroy skirt that I got last fall, and I am so happy they brought it back in more colors this fall! I paired it with a simple plaid button up, and my favorite J. Crew sweater . Oh, and what screams fall more, than red wellies ?! It was the perfect apple day besides the fact that I was sweating in my sweater because it was actually 80 degrees and humid 😂. Real sweater weather will come soon! Anyway, I got to check a big thing off of my fall bucket list already!! Hope you guys enjoyed your weekend!
