End of the World

Dress  ( more sizes here + on sale! )  |   Similar hat  |   Sweater This place, Montauk, Actually feels like the end of the world. It is the most eastern point of Long Island, and is surrounded by the ocean. I love walking down the little path to the beach next to the lighthouse, and listening to the waves crash against the rocks. It feels so serene. While out there for a little trip, I wore this Gal Meets Glam dress out East. The simple pattern, and colors felt perfect for Montauk. And, the maxi length kept be a bit warm when the wind picked up by the ocean. What a great day, and we topped it off with a sunset cruise (post to come soon!) As always, #dontforgetyourpearls

25 Things + my birthday outfit!

I used to think about how far away my golden birthday was. I thought 25 on 25 would never get here, but wow that came up FAST!! I am spending my birthday on Long Island, exploring the Hamptons, and it is amazing. I love love the vibe of the Hamptons, and all the cute little towns have to offer. On my actual birthday, we went to Wolffer Estate Vineyards because they have my favorite rose! I take rose all day very seriously, haha. 25 is such a crazy age! Am I in my mid-20s or late-20s?? Am I closer to 30??? I feel like this is the first age where I have had to process a lot about life, haha. But to celebrate 25 years, I have put together a list of 25 things I want to do or accomplish before 26 comes along. (also A LOT of birthday outfit pictures and birthday pictures!! outfit details will be link at the bottom!) 1. Finish my master's degree! 2. See Hamilton, 😋. 3. Land my first partnership for the blog. 4. Take and kill the MCAT again. 5. GO TO NANTUCKET! Th

Blue Light Blocking Glasses

When I ordered new glasses back in May, I told the optician that I was a graduate student (and blogger, aha). I said that I spent a lot of my time in front of a screen whether that be in lecture, studying, or writing. She instantly recommended that I have blue light blocking in my new lenses. I totally agreed! It has now been about 2 months wearing my everyday glasses with blue light blocking lenses, and I wanted to give you little review/insight into how they have been working for me so far. When I first picked up my glasses, I was SO excited. (I love picking out new glasses because it is like a fun new accessory!) I put on the glasses so they could be adjusted, and they just seemed like I was looking through normal glasses! I instantly noticed a difference when looking at my phone screen, though. It looked/s like the "night shift" setting was on all the time, but not in a bad way. That first day felt almost life changing, yes one day felt like a world of difference fo

My Favorite Gluten Free Things

Can we just take a minute to appreciate that Nutella drizzle.  This may be news to some of you, and I feel like a lot of you may have figured this out, but I have celiac disease. I have mentioned it here, and there on my instagram, or really just talked about finding some great gluten free eats. But today, I wanted to share some of my favorite gluten free things out there. This post may turn into a my favorite things at Trader Joe's post, but what can I say; I am a girl who loves her TJ's! 1. Trader Joe's gluten free toaster waffles These waffles have been my all time favorite gf waffle for YEARS!!! No other frozen gf waffle has even come close to being this good. My favorite way to eat them is going to sound strange, ahah. I have not found a gf bread that I really like, so instead of avo-toast, I have avo-waffle! I just put half an avocado on a toasted gf waffle, mash it with salt and pepper, and top it with Everything bagel seasoning. Perfection.  2. Banza

Back to (Grad) School!

I am not sure if this is out where you live, but the Targets in New Jersey have had back to school supplies out for a couple of weeks now! Uffdah! At this point in my life, I feel like I am a back to school pro. I have gone through college, now grad school, and am planning on professional (medical) school too. I know what I need, and what I like, and have learned what is not necessary. Today, I have rounded up my 5 top back to school things. I think you will find these useful no matter what stage of your education you are in, and even you are not going back to school! (I have linked some school posts from last year at the end of this post, check them out!!) 1. Planner Every year, it feels like my planner saves my life, 😂. If you have been around since I started PWP, one of my first posts was an ode to my Erin Condren Planner. I still stand by my love for the EC planners. I have switched to their new academic planner, and the features have been perfect for grad school life.

Lilly Love

The other day I wore this Lilly Pulitzer shirt dress . I got sooo many questions and comments about the dress, so I am featuring it on here (it was also fabulous to take some pics during MN golden hour)! I actually think this dress came out last fall sometime, but I have still had my eye on it. The last time I was home, I found it in my favorite store that carries Lilly Pulitzer called Melly . I was so so excited that they still had a few sizes, and I had to have it! The dress is a midi length. I am 5'9", and it hits perfectly between the knee and ankle. It is a nice cotton material with stretch, which I love. I think it runs true to size; usually wear a small or 4-6 in Lilly, and this dress is a 4. Because of the stretch, this dress is so so comfy, and you could size down in it depending on how you like it fitted (still think it is pretty TTS). Because the dress is from a couple seasons back, it can be hard to find. It is still available on the Lilly Pulitzer w

Favorite Spots: Minneapolis, MN

Another edition of my Favorite Spots here. This time, we are talking Minneapolis, MN. The other twin of the Twin Cities! Just like its twin, Minneapolis has so many amazing spots that it is hard to narrow down my favorites. BUT, I think I did a good job, and rounded up some of the best places in this city. Again, the Twin Cities are a very foodie, active, artsy pair of cities, and my favorite places definitely fall under those categories. So I have switched things up, and organized my Minneapolis faves just like that! I have several favorites in Minneapolis, but I have never lived on that side of the river, so I know my favorites barely scratch the surface on what this Twin City has to offer! Favorite Eat + Drink Betty Danger's Country Club - I think I have professed my love for BD a few times already on PWP. It is seriously my most favorite place ever! You must go to ride the Ferris wheel, and play mini golf! Longfellow Grill - A great spot by the river, closer to St

Late summer looks to recreate

Hi, my name is Libby, and I love Pinterest! I have been so inspired from outfits I have pinned lately. It has been helping me create new outfits from things I already had in my closet. Which means a little less shopping, and a lot happier bank account, haha. Today, I have picked some of my favorite looks that I have pinned, and tried to find links to recreate them. I tried to include some more affordable pieces in the links, for my gals on a budget (like me!). I really think you might have a lot of similar things in your closet though! (also, come say hi on Pinterest !!) Look #1 Clean white dress look I totally pinned this from Carly's blog post the other morning. I was so so inspired by the clean look of the white dress, and the pop of color from the scarf. It is such a classic look, and here's what you need: - white dress: I actually saw a similar one to her Theory dress on Poshmark, but here is what I found: very similar J. Crew   eyelet shirt

Summer So Far

I always have the unpopular on this one, but summer is my favorite season/the BEST season! I think this stems from growing up in Minnesota because winter would actually be 75% of the year, so when it was finally warm out, it felt like the best gift mother nature could give, and you had to soak up all of the warmth! Also, growing up in the tundra called Minnesota made you resent the cold after a while, and I am a freeze baby, and can never get warm enough, so summer is my season, aha! So, happy August!! The best month in my opinion 😊. Home to MN for a bit, and did all the MN summer things! My parents bought a new house!! The previous owners left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, and this was the cutest gesture I have ever seen. I will be doing that later in life when I sell a house! Mirror selfie at Studio 54. I saw Kiss Me Kate one last time before it closed the day after! Wearing this dress . Celebrating the 4th on the Shore was incredi
