Basket Bag Finds

It is no secret that I love my basket/wicker bags. I pretty much carry the same one all spring and summer long because I love it that much. I feel like I need to mix it up and add a few more to my collection haha, and mine is old from a couple of years ago, but this is the new similar option . These bags are just so fun because they come in all shapes and sizes, so there is something for any one. They are also extremely versatile and go from day to night so well, in my opinion.  I have rounded up a handful of bags that have caught my eye. But, the bag at the top of my wishlist is this sweet market tote from Bows and Blue with a painted blue bow and gingham top handle! Its adorable and also comes in a mini size . Weekend Finds + Fourth of July Outfit Ideas

How is it the last weekend in June?! I feel like 2021 has been flying by, it is crazy! This week here has been equal parts uneventful and exciting, and I cannot wait to share more soon. If you do not follow me on Instagram, which you totally should @libbylovespearls , I was part of a launch of a small business called Bits and Bows . The brand is baseball hats with interchangeable bows. It is so creative and I love mine! I have a code for 10% their site LIBBY10. Congrats to Bits and Bows on their launch! FOURTH OF JULY INSPIRATION: -I have LOVED the brand Kiel James Patrick  for years. They are a small-ish(?) business, and all of their pieces are made in the the US. I think that is perfect for finding a Fourth of July outfit, and they even launched a red white and blue, holiday ready collection. Summer Reading List

Is anyone else triggered when they hear the phrase summer reading list? I am, haha. But this one is not full of boring novels that you will quizzed on during the first day of school. This is my little list of fun summer reads for your vacation, beach time, pool time, back yard time, before bed you get it!  The first list is what is on my personal list for the summer. The second list is my recommendations for you guys to read this summer! I love some light reads for the warmer months or some soft thrill, if that makes sense haha. I want to caveat that all the books are linked from Amazon out of convenience for me (and probably you!), but I want to encourage you to pull up this post at your local bookstore because  that is the best way for the authors to become best sellers! ON MY LIST: 1. Malibu Rising 2. The People You Meet On Vacation 3. An Elin Hilderbrand book- I haven't picked which one because they all sound pretty good! Obviously, I will read more than these, but these are

Beach Vacation Packing List

I cannot remember the last time I went on a true summer vacation to the beach. When I lived on the East Coast, it was really easy to take a day trip or weekend to the beach, but nothing feels the same as a real week long summer vacation! Especially this summer, I am itching to go on one and put that into inspiration for a beach vacay packing list! Most these pieces, or some variation of them, would be in my beach bound suit case. It is clear I am theme of bows, gingham and blue and white here, haha.  BEACH VACATION PACKING LIST: Swim Top + Bottoms | Sunscreen | Dress | Straw Bag Smocked Top | Espadrilles White Skirt | Fleece | Pajamas Sandals (use SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50 off!) | Sun Hat -I always think a sweater is essential wherever you go in the summer because it can get chilly at night, and there's is nothing less fun than being cold. I love the DS Fleeces because they also look chic, and are an easy option to tie around your shoulders in case you need it.  -I b

Weekend Finds

Its a big weekend: Father's Day AND the official first day of summer. It has been a pretty average week here. I did spend all of last Saturday at my best girlfriend's pool with our other best girlfriend, and it was lovely! It was so nice to just lounge around, chat, get in the pool and enjoy their company. I hope we can get a few more days in like that because it was perfect. And tonight (Friday), we are going out to happy hour to a favorite themed bar in Minneapolis: it has a ferris wheel and mini golf, and amazing margs. I'm so excited! My low for the week was having to take Poppy, our goldendoodle, to the vet because she decided to eat out of the grease pan on the grill. I will spare the details, but she is doing much better now, and needed no serious interventions which we were all thankful for! Wishing you all a good weekend! RECENT BUYS: -This swim suit from Amazon -This new Nap Dress style , so excited for it to ship! -This gingham dress (!!) -I am a Sarah Flint

ChappyWrap Review

ChappyWrap I have used a lot of different blankets in my life. I tend to run cold, no matter the season, and can probably be found wrapped in a blanket. I had wanted a ChappyWrap for so long because I had heard rave reviews about the blanket. I finally got one this winter! Now that I have used the Chappy for winter, spring, and some summer, I thought it would be a good time to write a review. Here is the readers digest version of my review: I want one for every room of the house ! -It is super cozy! I love the fleecy material. It is so soft, and just gets softer with every wash! Its crazy because sometimes washing blankets that are similar can make them worn and not as cuddly, but this one gets better with each wash and age! -It is the  perfect  weight: it is not too heavy and it is not too light. It feels hefty enough for the winter, and light enough for the spring and summer, if that makes sense. My temperature always feels just right when I am in it- not too warm and not freezing

Wedding Guest Dresses

Last week, I did a fun Reel on Instagram with my friend Elizabeth from Tall and Preppy ! It was a lot of fun to put together the looks and get dressed up. I figured since a lot of weddings are happening this summer that I would put together a post of some wedding guest dress inspiration. I think wedding fashion seems overwhelming when thinking about what the dress code is and isn't for specific events. Formal/black tie attire is the only one where you need to be really dressy and have a gown, but otherwise it is easy to dress up and down any dress!  I really love knee length and longer dress for wedding because they seem effortlessly dressier. I have pulled together some of my favorite midi and maxi dresses that I think would be perfect to wear to a wedding. Shoes and accessories can be kept very simple too: an easy block heel  (use code SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50 off!) and even wedge espadrilles are comfy and chic ! *Also a note on colors to avoid: obviously white, but if you hav

Weekend Finds

Happy Weekend! I hope everyone had a great week. It was another HOT one here in Minnesota, but I would much rather have the hot weather than below zero weather, hah. Nothing super interesting happened in the past week. I have some amazing partnerships in the works, so look out for those in the coming weeks. I am so excited to shoot for them! We have been playing a lot of tennis and driveway pickle ball, which always makes me happy even though we are not good at all.  This weeks finds include a lot of perfect summery dresses and my favorites from the Born on Fifth for Dillards collection are marked down! I also found my favorite espadrilles in stock in all sizes!  WEEKEND FINDS: JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.

My Summer Uniform

Friends, it has been hot, hot, hot here in Minnesota for the past week! It really feels like Florida in the height of summer because it is that hot and humid. Like usual for the summer, I have been reaching for all my long, flowy, light dresses, especially my nap dresses ! I am so happy to have these in my summer closet because they have been such a HOT weather outfit game changer! I know I will continue to reach for these all summer, and hopefully add one or two more to my collection. They are have a summer launch and restock on June 16, so be sure to keep an eye out for that! Here is a link for $20 off of $100 at Hill House Home! The nap dress is really so versatile. There's so many ways to wear it, and that is one of the reasons why I love this piece, and now call it a closet staple. I have put together some ideas on how to style this for summer such as at home, on the go, casual and even dressed up! I know I will be referring back to this for easy, chic and comfortable out

Father's Day Gift Ideas

Father's Day is only 2 weeks away, and I did not see it coming up that fast! I thought I still had a week or two left to put this gift guide together, but that is not the case haha. I don't know about you, but I always struggle to come up with something great for my dad. Men in general can just be hard to shop for! I tried my best cover all the bases with this guide. Some of the ideas seem very generic/stereotypic dad, but I thought about the things my dad loves and uses to create this guide! BOAT SHOES : My dad loooves his boat shoes. He is either in tennis shoes, Keens or boat shoes. I think that these are just a classic shoe that any dad/dad figure will wear and appreciate! FITBIT : For the techie guy, hah. My whole family wears a FitBit. We are all FitBit friends and are very competitive with step count and such. I like that this one is also a smartwatch and does so much cool stuff! AIRPODS : I think this is just a good gift for people you are struggling to buy for becaus

Weekend Finds

I hope everyone had a great week and great long weekend! Here we are at the weekend again! I wish every weekend could be 3 days haha. Actually, when I worked as a medical scribe, my teams' admin day was Friday- which means that I had 3 day weekends for 2 years. But after working 4 very long, busy days in a row, my day off was more of a day of catch up with tasks I neglected during the week.  WEEKLY CATCH UP: There has not been much of anything interesting this week. I have been doing a steady closet clean out and taking things to the consignment store, and I am going to start to sell some on Poshmark, here's my Poshmark profile . I did buy a pickle ball net to use in our drive way, and I have been playing almost every night with my mom. It is a lot of fun, and not as intense as tennis but we (I!) still get very competitive. It is going to be a such a gorgeous weekend of hot weather, and I am trying to rally my friend to plan something! RECENT BUYS: -This navy Nike skort -Thi
