The Lady Jacket Edit

I love when more classic pieces become "trendy" because that means endless options to add to your forever closet. The obsession with the Lady Jacket silhouette has been one of my favorites this year. This fall, they are everywhere in the best way possible. I have a handful of these style of jackets/sweaters and they are on heavy rotation in my closet. I reach for them often and they have been the perfect addition to my clinic wardrobe. These jackets look so effortless and polished and can definitely be styled casual to professional. I searched the internet to find some of my favorite styles of these jackets and tried to find some at all price points- I even found one on Amazon! Enjoy :) some outfit inspo LEFT COLUMN:   1  |   2  |   3  |   4  |   5 MIDDLE COLUMN:   1  |   2  |   3  |   4 RIGHT COLUMN:   1  |   2  |   3  |   4  |   5 As always #dontforge...

10 Things I am Loving for Fall

I have been doing a lot of shopping and online browsing, lately. (I shared on my Instagram that I had covid 5 weeks ago and am still having lingering symptoms- so all the resting and long study breaks I have to take are full of scrolling through new fall arrivals, aha.) I am never excited for fall because I love summer and the warm sunny weather, but I adore to see all the new fall arrivals. I love how the "trend" this fall is almost back to classic style, which is fine with me because that means more shopping options! I picked my top 10 finds that I have been eyeing/maybe already ordered for the fall. Enjoy friends :) Ballet Flats -- So apparently ballet flats are back "in." For me and my classic style, they were never out but I guess it is a big trend for this fall! I have these flats and they are so comfortable and needed no break in time as the leather is buttery soft. I have been lusting over the black pair and even the light blue pair and woven pair . I lov...

Pre Fall Wish List

Yes, I said the F word- Fall. I am definitely someone who wants endless summer. But, there has been a few pieces that are leaning more fall that I have been eyeing. This is not me wishing away warm weather- just getting excited for another season of style! Pre-fall into early fall weather usually still feels like summer weather, so I tend to stick with my favorite blue and white palette. Even though I prefer to were blue, white and more muted pastels and neutrals, I am very drawn to a darker color way come fall and winter. I usually wear what makes me happy and some fall days that's a blue and white dress with espadrilles and others is a tailored navy skirt + button-up and flats. I always say that my style is classic, and there are so many fun sides to the classic style coin. My wishlist is definitely a mix of all the styles I love under that umbrella! These flats should be on your fall wishlist! Use code SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50 off! PRE-FALL WISHLIST: Navy Skirt - I have ...

Daily Looks

Happy Monday! I feel, when this time of year comes, I am always stuck in an outfit rut, so I wanted to share some simple daily looks incase you are in the same outfit boat and need inspiration. As I have mentioned before, I have loved playing with my style this year, and adding different elements I love, but still keeping it classic. These looks are a good representation of that, and my advice to play with your style a bit! I basically have been wearing variations of these looks for a few weeks, aha. I also need some outfit inspo! Also, it recently started to get cooler in Indy, and I need to bring out the tights, aha. I think any look here would be fine to add tights and maybe boots too!  Button-down | Similar Jeans | Similar Sweater | Flats -Use code SARAHFLINT-BALIBBYM for $50 off! Blue and White For Fall

I am going to be honest, all throughout summer I thought about how I was going to wear my favorite color way into fall. It was easier in the beginning of the season to wear more warm weather dresses because it was still in the 90's. And then, I found this dress . It was just the piece I was envisioning to take my favorites into the cooler weather season. The blue and white florals, the long puff sleeves and the darling collar really help tie it together for fall! Did I mention that this dress is in the $30 range ?? Because it is, and it totally looks and feels like it could be more expensive! I was also very excited that clogs came back. I love how they look a bit more "fall" but still have some feminine touches that match my current season of style- grandmillennial. I have been wearing these clogs every other day because they just go with anything- dresses, skirts, jeans, anything! I almost always have a sweater tied around my neck just in case I get cold, which is of...

Fall Wishlist

Even though it is still 90 degrees in Indiana, we are getting into full on fall and pumpkin spice season. Fall is not typically my favorite season, but it is still fun to dress and shop for. I recently placed a few orders for some fall pieces, but there is still some on my wishlist. This year, dressing for fall feels a little different for me. I have been so in love with exploring the feminine, grandmillennial side of my style, that I want to incorporate it into my fall style. It is hard to bring all those blue and whites into fall when the fashion season tends to move towards darker colors and neutrals.  With that said, that classic fall, classic style/east coast prep is something I love! There are such great pieces out this season, and I love that they are bringing in those feminine elements of puff sleeves and some lighter colors. Puff sleeves have become one of my favorite trends that is not too trendy. Clogs should also be on your fall wishlist. They are back, and they ...

Fall Trend: Clogs

I have a confession: I have loved clogs for so long. I am so excited that these are coming back this fall! I have been eyeing so many fun styles of clogs from so many different brands and stores, in the past few weeks. There are so many great pairs, and even Target has gotten in on the trend. My love for clogs goes back to when I worked as a scribe in family medicine. My dress code was business casual and I had to wear close-toe shoes that I could run around the clinic in, but still looked nice and were comfy. Clogs were/are great because they give you some height, are comfy, and go with any look. I had so many pairs that I had to retire because of 2 straight years of daily wear! I rounded up some great styles I have been eyeing this season, and made sure to include all price points. The pair from Target I included, is only $30! A note on this pair though, is that they have been going in and out of stock so quickly, so if you want a pair snag them as soon as you see them in your...

Finger Lakes Travel Guide

Finger Lakes, NY Travel Guide This was my first time to the Finger Lakes in New York. And, it has been the only "vacation" I have been on in 2020. I had a blast!!! Here is my postcards post with some gorgeous snaps of the trip. And here is what I packed for the trip. I asked on Instagram if anyone had any questions about the Finger Lakes, and have done my best to answer them within the post! Here is my guide and recommendations for the Finger Lakes!! When to Go:  I would highly recommend going during the fall when it is closer to, or at peak leaf season. The colors were absolutely gorgeous! I did learn that the Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend in October (when we were there) tends to be the busiest weekend of the year because of the fall colors and long weekend, which was apparent on Saturday and Sunday. I would love to come back in the summer for water activities and vineyard tours too. Where We Stayed: We stayed in this Airbnb . It is a refurbished church, and is beautifu...

Seeing Spots

Every year, I eye up all things leopard print. It feels like the perfect neutral that goes with anything. I have always loved these Margaux classic leopard flats , and it would be such a fun way to spruce up your look. I have no moved into loving a skirt or dress number, too! Especially for a skirt, you could be party on the bottom and business on top for your Zoom meetings! (I am not saying you can't wear leopard "to" work, but I feel like the pattern would look a bit too busy for the low quality cameras on our computers 😂.) Here is my quick, fun round-up of all things spotted! Also- don't forget my Margaux code LIBBY10 for 10% off your own pair of shoes! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Stars Hollow Style

Just around the corner from where our Finger Lakes Airbnb was  the cutest main street of the town. It was lined with older homes of Victorian architecture, and lots of colorful trees. It really felt like Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls. I was just missing some coffee from Luke's and the Gazebo. Blazer   |   Skirt   |   Turtleneck  |   OTK Boots  {try and use code ACTFAST for 10% off!} (also  here ) Just look at those colors!! I reallllly want to share and talk about this blazer . It is an adorable plaid check blazer that's perfect for fall. The best part about it is that it is wool free, and is only $32! I do not often shop for clothes at Target , but when I saw this blazer, I knew it would be a winner. I also feel like grown-up Rory in A Year in the Life would totally wear this outfit or something incredible similar! These OTK boots are another piece in my cool weather wardrobe and are something that would not be comple...

Postcards from the Finger Lakes

We took an extra long weekend last week, and drove up to the Finger Lakes in Upstate NY. I had never been there before, but wow was it beautiful. We spent our days there hiking in the mornings, and checking out wineries in the afternoon. It was a great time, and we picked the perfect time to go because the fall colors were gorgeous, and it hadn't gotten too chilly to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. Here are some snapshots from the fun little road trip! Lots of pictures ahead! We stayed at this funky little refurbished church Airbnb . It was actually a pretty cool place to stay because it had a lot of history, and was beautifully redone. Look at those original floors! The location is pretty good too because it is between Keuka and Seneca lakes- so good access to a lot of wineries, haha.  On our first full day, we spent the morning hiking the Keuka Outlet Trail . The trail is lined with trees and the colors were just incredible. This trail is also has water falls in bot...
