Happy March and welcome back to the blog! It has been awhile since the last post- school and getting covid again got in the way. But, I am on break this week so I am dusting off some drafts and writing some new posts! I have been loving these new arrivals from J. Crew. This gold button/Lady Jacket era style that has been in for this winter/spring season is one of my favorites. It is such a classic look that will always be in style and a great investment piece for your wardrobe. I am really eyeing the striped one but also the pink gingham one is adorable and I normally do not gravitate towards pink! I love all these great basics too- button-ups, sweaters and a great cut of white jeans. I am so excited for warmer weather ahead and fun spring outfits! Spring J. Crew Finds

Hello friends! I cannot believe it has been so long since my last blog post. I finally have a clear break from exams this weekend, and it feels so could to write up some posts. I have been loving these new J. Crew Spring releases, and picked out my favorites! A lot of them are on a little bit of a sale this weekend, so I wanted to get this post out today. Can you tell I am attracted to certain styles 😂: give me all the smocking, flowy dresses and puff sleeves! I added a lot of white pieces because it feels so fresh for a new season. I have also been seeing a lot of this light sage green color for the season, and love that J. Crew released this gorgeous mini dress with some fun details on the bust. I am so ready for warm weather. We have had some teaser days in Indy in the 70s, so I feel like consistent warm weather is just around the corners (fingers crossed). I have been slowly switching out my more wintery pieces for my spring and summer pieces and it feels so good! SHOP MY PICKS: S...

J. Crew Sale Picks

This dress is on sale! Happy July 1! J. Crew is having a pretty good sale on sale right now! All of their sale pieces are an extra 50% off and some are even an extra 60% off. I did order a few things, and might make another order aha. The sale runs through July 5, so you have time to peruse and make you selections. I have been linking pieces from the sale on sale on LTK, but wanted to do a bigger post here with everything. So enjoy my picks! Oh yes, I just got these linen pants in the mail. They are only $30 right now! I am wearing Tall sizes in them, for reference. (They say stretch linen, but are not that stretchy.) J. CREW SALE PICKS: JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Little White Eyelet Dress

Dress  ( Green + Pink )  |   Shoes  (similar here + here )  | Similar bag ( this one too ) Happy Saturday!  I just wanted to share a quick outfit post today because J. Crew is just having these amazing ongoing sales, and this dress is apart of it! You can get another glimpse of the outfit on my Quarantine Staycation post from yesterday! I almost feel like this is the dress of the summer ! J. Crew has restocked it so many times because it is that good. It is has fun swingy silhouette, and I have seen in on many women, and they all look SO good in it! I like that it is light for these hot summer days, and has fun details like the ruffle on the collar, and v-neckline. It is also eyelet, so it just screams summer!  A note on sizing: it runs big.   I would normally get a small in a J. Crew dress, but this one I got an xs in....I am shocked too that it fits perfectly. I would say size down unless you want an extra-swingy feel to the dress, which i...

House Dress Chic

Florals for spring, groundbreaking. Thank you, The Devil Wears Prada for giving us the most iconic fashion line ever. Every spring when I am drawn to the new floral patterns, this line runs through my head, and I actually laugh to myself! Dress I got this happy, little dress from J. Crew a few weeks ago. It fits my flowy, easy, comfy spring+summer dress needs to a tee. It is also a blue floral pattern, which makes me extra happy! The weather is actually started to take a turn for the warmer, so I am looking forward to more days spent in summer dresses, or house dresses as they are so called now. I love the notion of the house dress, its almost like a modern take on the muumuu, and a way to be fashionably chic in your home! This dress is still available, but only in some sizes- similar one here , here and here . (Yes, I will still link to J. Crew items because it is truly what I wear, and a good representation of my style and closet 😊.) I do not ...

You Plaid Me at Hello

Why does it seem that plaid season is extra short this year?? It makes me sad how fast it is going because I still have so much plaid left to wear!! So, there will be A LOT of plaid on here for the next few weeks, and I am not sorry about it 😂. [Side bar- I think the less red plaids, like black watch, are just fine outside the holidays! But red and green together plaids just feel too Christmasy to wear after New Year's.] Skirt  |   Shirt  |   Sweater Blazer  |   Tote  (gifted/won!)  |  Old J. Crew Shoes - similar here A plaid skirt is always a staple in my holiday wardrobe. I feel like it is a timeless piece that you can style so many ways. I know I will wear this year after year! I have seen so many cute plaid skirt options this year, but this one from J. Crew really caught my eye. The colors in it just seem perfectly holiday-esque, and the bands of tweed make the skirt stand out from other plaid skirts! I...

Fall is for Apples

Skirt  |   Sweater  |   Similar Plaid Shirt  |   Boots   Happy (almost) Fall! Technically, the first day of fall is September, 23, and its still summer. BUT it is apple season, so that makes it more fall-like. The other day I put on my best fall outfit, and headed to the apple orchard! I chose this J. Crew Factory corduroy skirt that I got last fall, and I am so happy they brought it back in more colors this fall! I paired it with a simple plaid button up, and my favorite J. Crew sweater . Oh, and what screams fall more, than red wellies ?! It was the perfect apple day besides the fact that I was sweating in my sweater because it was actually 80 degrees and humid 😂. Real sweater weather will come soon! Anyway, I got to check a big thing off of my fall bucket list already!! Hope you guys enjoyed your weekend! A Taste of Fall

Shirtdress  (on sale!)  |   Similar flats   |   Similar bag Hello September! I have really been struggling with what I want vs need to shop for. I am totally still in summer mode because it is technically summer until the 23! BUT, all of the fall lines are out, so I can't really shop for summer any more, ahah. Quite the dilemma.  While in J. Crew the other day I felt they had a great mix of end of summer and early fall things. I actually found this super cute shirtdress that will be good for spring, summer, and fall. It is a simple black shirt dress with a little sleeve, and a cute little sash to tie in a bow. My mom, being the genius she is, offered that I could take of the sash, and wear it with any belt I wanted around the waist of the dress! I know this is easy, but how easy to change the look of a simple, chic dress?!!? I''m sold, thanks mom! This dress just gave such a New York vibe when I picked it out. A classic bla...

A day in St. Augustine

I have a confession to make...these photos are from March 😂. We took them on our spring break trip to Florida, but my dad wanted to use his new camera, and he never got around to uploading them until I was home last month!   When we went to FL during my March spring break, we spent a couple days at Disney, then headed to the Atlantic Coast. One of the days, we took a little trip up to St. Augustine, Florida. If you have never been, it is a beautiful old town. Actually, I think it is one of the oldest towns in the US. All of the architecture is a charming, Spanish colonial style, and you really feel brought back in time.  I remember that the entire trip was a little on the chilly side, like 60+ degrees, minimal sun, and some rain...not the beach vacation I was hoping for, aha. But, we made the most of exploring the historic town. We had been there before, so it was more like revisiting our favorite spots! Because it was pretty chilly, I opted for white ...

Summer Nights

Did you really summer if you didn't wear a white dress, and some espadrilles? 😊 Summer nights are my favorite of the entire year. The nights seems to last longer because there is more hours of day light. The sunsets are so beautiful during the summer, too. On my ideal summer night, it is still so warm outside, so you do not even need to bring a sweater for later. I have always love the look of a clean white dress on a summer evening. It feels classic, put together, and well summer-y! Dress  |   Shoes  |   Similar bag As always, #dontforgetyourpearls
