I am still home in Minnesota on break, and it is quite chilly here already. I was going to take a short trip somewhere warm during winter break, but we decided it would be best to postpone it as there is a surge in the pandemic. As the high temperature this weekend is -4 (yes below zero degrees plus a windchill..), I am trying to think warm thoughts. So here are my warm thoughts in the form of my packing wishlist/what I would pack for a winter holiday. Stay warm, friends!   Even though it is still 90 degrees in Indiana, we are getting into full on fall and pumpkin spice season. Fall is not typically my favorite season, but it is still fun to dress and shop for. I recently placed a few orders for some fall pieces, but there is still some on my wishlist. This year, dressing for fall feels a little different for me. I have been so in love with exploring the feminine, grandmillennial side of my style, that I want to incorporate it into my fall style. It is hard to bring all those blue and whites into fall when the fashion season tends to move towards darker colors and neutrals.  With that said, that classic fall, classic style/east coast prep is something I love! There are such great pieces out this season, and I love that they are bringing in those feminine elements of puff sleeves and some lighter colors.   After 2 weeks of below zero temperatures, I am ready for warm weather to be here. I am also excited that we are out of the polar cold snap and that it will be 40 degrees for a couple of days. A week ago, I started to online window shop for spring/summer pieces and decided to compile them here. I really love dressing for warmer weather and just wearing nothing but flowy, cute, comfy dresses. I did include the tan trench coat (which I already own), as spring can still be chilly here in Minnesota and I always advise light layers!   I am sharing my own wishlist today. Every year, I feel guilty asking for things for some reason, but my mom/family always asks me for a list and to give a few suggestions! (Anyone else not like to pick out their own gifts haha? I just love the thoughtfulness and surprise element!)  Oh wow, did it get very chilly overnight here in Minnesota. As much as I want summer to hang around for a bit longer, I am too cold to think about a sundress and sandals, haha. I like to get a jumpstart on holiday shopping, and the holidays in general! I LOVE this time of year, and for me it starts November 1. The spirit, cheer, togetherness and magic is why I love this season. It is a cozy time with friends, family, cookie baking, and hot cocoa drinking. I love how it makes me feel so happy and on a high, so I am starting my first ever gift guide series! Hello, friends!  Sorry I did not post on Tuesday, but I was dead exhausted from my sister's wedding this past weekend, and Tuesday was a travel day, so I just did not get to it.
