  I did not mean for a 6+ month blog hiatus to happen, but school and being on rotations really ate up most of my attention this winter and spring! But, I am back and now a fourth year medical student with (I hope), a little more flexibility in her schedule this year! It is that time of year again, so thought I would share my picks for this year's Nordstrom Sale. I know so many people will be putting out content of their sale picks and it can get overwhelming so here are my two cents: you do not need anything, I always take this time of year to grab essentials that I use almost every day because they do not go on sale often. A couple of things I like to pick up during the sale are my favorite bra, sunscreen and maybe a pair of sneakers. This year my favorite pair of sneakers are actually part of the sale so I hope I can snag these!  I think other pieces that are worth shopping the sale for are things like jackets that rarely go on sale like Barbour-I have one and it is a close...

  One of my favorite sales of the year is here: the Hill House Home annual sale! Everything is currently 30% off- even the new holiday and home collections!   The Sephora Sale starts today! I always love this sale because I use it to stock up on my favorite products and treat myself to some new goodies to try. It is also great to do a bit of holiday shopping early! Below, I have all of my picks for the sale but just want to highlight a handful of my favorites that have been in my routine for a while now: - Paula's Choice Toner: I tried a lot of toners before this one and have repurchased this one so many times now. I think it has made a huge difference in my skin- less breakouts/texture and clearer, smaller pores. I use it as part of my night time routine and can't recommend it enough! - Dyson AirWrap : I think this is 100% worth it. It is the only hair tool I use now. I love how it makes your hair look like you got a professional blowout every time! I think I use it almost every day so the cost per use has basically paid for itself now.   Hello! It has been months since my last post here. That was not my intention but school, board exams and way too much studying got in the way. But hopefully we are back with our weekly posts in time for the start of the Nordstrom Sale! I sifted through most of the sale preview this year. The best things I found were in beauty like the Supergoop sets, Dyson Airwrap and other favorite products of mine that I want to stock up on. This is usually how I shop the NSale- I find things I use and wear on a daily basis and grab extras during the sale. This year I see my favorite everyday bra, favorite sunscreen, body wash, face cleanser, skin care, scrunchies and jeans. I need new sneakers so those are calling my name and there's always a few for fun things like the sunhat or fun heeled boots.  I do not have a Nordstrom card so I shop the sale when it goes live to the public and things that sell out before then are *usually* restocked by then.   Today starts public access to the Nordstrom Sale! This sale gets a lot of hype, and there are some good finds but I usually use it to stock up things I use every day and my favorite basics. This sale is known for things selling out but being restocked periodically, so keep you eye out if you see something that is out of stock but you want it! Hello, it is Friday, and we have made it to the long weekend! It has been a long week, but hopefully this post brings you some joy. I have a mash-up post today of my favorites plus some weekend sale finds. WHAT I'M LOVING: Cover Story // I read this book in about 3.5 days. I absolutely loved it, so it deserves a spot in the favorites from the past couple of weeks.   The spring Sephora sales starts tomorrow for Rouge members! I am re-sharing this post I wrote last year because my favorites and recommendations have not changed much. I have added some of my favorite new products like this mascara and this eyebrow product to the shopping widget below, but otherwise I still stand by these recommendations. Remember than the sale starts on different dates for the different levels of rewards members. My advice is to shop as soon as you can if you have some specific things on your list, incase things sell out! I will hopefully stocking up on my favorites and products I use everyday.   It is already that time of year again: time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I was debating about putting my picks in a blog post form, but decided to just do some easy, stoppable widgets of the pieces that caught my eye. This sale usually gets a lot of hype and attention- it usually includes pieces that rarely go on sale, and a whole bunch of other things. I see the sale as a time to get basics you need/need to replace and a way to get ahead on some fall shopping. For example, if you need a new winter coat, now is the time to buy it during the sale. I picked things that stood out to me, like coats, basics, sneakers, and a few fun things! Obviously there is way more to the sale than these, but I have tried to vet what I think is worth it.
