My Favorite Gluten Free Things

Can we just take a minute to appreciate that Nutella drizzle.

This may be news to some of you, and I feel like a lot of you may have figured this out, but I have celiac disease. I have mentioned it here, and there on my instagram, or really just talked about finding some great gluten free eats. But today, I wanted to share some of my favorite gluten free things out there. This post may turn into a my favorite things at Trader Joe's post, but what can I say; I am a girl who loves her TJ's!

1. Trader Joe's gluten free toaster waffles
These waffles have been my all time favorite gf waffle for YEARS!!! No other frozen gf waffle has even come close to being this good. My favorite way to eat them is going to sound strange, ahah. I have not found a gf bread that I really like, so instead of avo-toast, I have avo-waffle! I just put half an avocado on a toasted gf waffle, mash it with salt and pepper, and top it with Everything bagel seasoning. Perfection.

2. Banza pasta
I randomly picked this up at Target because it was a gf pasta brand I had never heard of before. I used to make some homemade mac n' cheese, and omg it was gooood. The pasta is made from chickpeas, so it is packed with protein, and has less carbs and lower glycemic index than any other pasta. It now comes in so many classic pasta shapes! I would definitely give this a try!

3. Against the Grain Pizza Crust
A pediatrician I used to work with introduced this to me. She told me it was free of a lot of common food allergens like nuts, soy, but also gluten. The next time we had a pizza night, I grabbed one of these crusts, and wow...one of the best tasting gluten free crusts I had had! It is almost like a buttery, cheesy cracker that is still soft, but gets crisp on the outside. I see this one for sure at Whole Foods, but have seen it in a "normal grocery store."

4. TJ's broccoli and kale pizza crust
I love to eat green things, haha. This crust is actually delicious, and you get some extra veggies, too. I really like to top it with anything!

5. TJ's GF Pumpkin pancake mix
This guy is a seasonal one. It comes out sometime in the fall, and is a popular item!! I am always that person who will buy like 3 boxes at once 😂. The pancakes are too delicious, and I can't help myself!!

I really could on and on! But I think these are definitely my favorite finds!! If you would want a fully dedicated TJ's post on my entire shopping list, or like a TJ's haul, I would be totally down for doing that!! What you do guys think? Let me know!

As always,

#dontforgetyourpearls

Coastal Grandmother Aesthetic

Who else has been loving the  Coastal Grandmother aesthetic trend on TikTok? I've been very engrossed in this trend that is actually not at all trendy and a nod to classic style, which I LOVE. Classic summer style is one of my favorite facets of classic style- linen dresses and pants, sun hats, walks on the beach and lots of rosé. This is literally me. And I consider myself a grandmillennial, so coastal grandmother is not too far off. Some may call it coast-grand-millennial ;) ALSO, a couple of weeks ago the Today Show did a segment on the trend, and featured a clip from one of my coastal gran TikToks! These are things you need to create your own coastal grandmother aesthetic, the coastal grandmother starter kit if you will. You probably have most of these things in your closet if you are a fellow classic style lover, like myself. So lets all live our lives as if we lived in a Nancy Meyers movie, and have the best coastal grandmother girl summer. Coast Grandmother Essentials...

What I Packed for Rhode Island

I am SO excited to be back on the East Coast for a bit. Today, we are driving to Rhode Island to spend the long weekend and celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday (thirty, flirting and thriving, right?!). I have only been to Rhode Island on one other occasion, and that was a marching band trip where we marched in the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. Thinking back on that, it was a very surreal experience that I am grateful for, and I am even more excited to get to go back to that state and explore as an adult. As soon as I knew we would be going to Rhode Island, I thought about the outfits for the trip. It invoked a sense of the classic East Coast prep style that I already love so much, and so I took that as my packing inspiration! The Kiel James Patrick store/brand is based out of Newport, RI, so I will definitely be visiting and I had to leave room in my suitcase for some new KJP pieces. I haven't had to pack for travel in awhile, so I decided to take a new ap...

A Thanksgiving Look

Turtleneck  |   Skirt  |   Tights  |   Boots Thanksgiving is only one week away! I am excited to go home, and spend time with my family and friends. This is a holiday that is HARD to dress for. On one hand, you want to wear joggers and a big sweater because of all of the yummy food and treats. On the other hand, you want to dress up, or slightly dress up while still feeling comfy. Hence, the big dressing dilemma: how to create the right look for your kind of holiday? I like to dress it up a little , without wearing a cocktail outfit or gown, haha. I created this look for a dressy, casual look. It is an easy outfit to put together, and I bet you have some similar pieces in your closet! A turtleneck, plaid skirt and tights is such a classic fall look that is also great for this holiday. It is kind of an easy dressing equation too because it is so easy to mix and match what you have in your closet, or buy one new piece that you know will go with an...
