Black Friday Round-Up

Tis the season! 🎄

I may have done some damage Black Friday Shopping...😊

There was so many awesome sales happening, and I could not resist. Especially because J. Crew was having 50% off your purchase!!! What is that?!? It never happens, so I had to take advantage!!

There was other great sales, and I also found a new winter coat!! Here is what I found:

J. Crew Finds:

Tartan Button-up-- LOVE this top! I felt it ran a little big and sized down.

Sleeveless Tartan Top-- Super cute, and runs big, I sized down.

Tartan Pants--I mean I already was buying out the tartan section, so had to get the pants. I felt they were too short for me, so I ordered them in a tall size.

Shirt Dress--The red seems to be sold out, but the Navy and Camel colors are pretty, too!

Sweater--Yes, I bought this sweater in a fourth color!!

Camel Turtleneck-- It is so soft, and will go with everything, and is good for layering.

L.L. Bean Find:

Bean Boots--These were 25% off on Black Friday!! I had to get them, and got them in the navy!

Macy's Find:

The North Face Parka--I needed a new winter coat. I tried on countless coats all weekend, and asked for recommendations. I finally found this one at Macy's, and it is perfect. It looks sleek and chic on the outside, and is so so incredibly warm. Highly recommend, and it comes a several colors! I got the navy.

Nordstrom Rack Finds:

J.Crew Sweater-- Saw this sweater, and could not beat that price, so I had to get it. Comes in a lot of colors, I thought the black looked so elegant!

Edith Dress-- I found this at Nordstrom Rack on a whim. I think it was altered or something, and that's why it was being sold there at an AMAZING price!! Such a classic dress, and cannot wait to style it. (I have linked it to Nordstrom.)

As always,

Coastal Grandmother Aesthetic

Who else has been loving the  Coastal Grandmother aesthetic trend on TikTok? I've been very engrossed in this trend that is actually not at all trendy and a nod to classic style, which I LOVE. Classic summer style is one of my favorite facets of classic style- linen dresses and pants, sun hats, walks on the beach and lots of rosé. This is literally me. And I consider myself a grandmillennial, so coastal grandmother is not too far off. Some may call it coast-grand-millennial ;) ALSO, a couple of weeks ago the Today Show did a segment on the trend, and featured a clip from one of my coastal gran TikToks! These are things you need to create your own coastal grandmother aesthetic, the coastal grandmother starter kit if you will. You probably have most of these things in your closet if you are a fellow classic style lover, like myself. So lets all live our lives as if we lived in a Nancy Meyers movie, and have the best coastal grandmother girl summer. Coast Grandmother Essentials...

What I Packed for Rhode Island

I am SO excited to be back on the East Coast for a bit. Today, we are driving to Rhode Island to spend the long weekend and celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday (thirty, flirting and thriving, right?!). I have only been to Rhode Island on one other occasion, and that was a marching band trip where we marched in the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. Thinking back on that, it was a very surreal experience that I am grateful for, and I am even more excited to get to go back to that state and explore as an adult. As soon as I knew we would be going to Rhode Island, I thought about the outfits for the trip. It invoked a sense of the classic East Coast prep style that I already love so much, and so I took that as my packing inspiration! The Kiel James Patrick store/brand is based out of Newport, RI, so I will definitely be visiting and I had to leave room in my suitcase for some new KJP pieces. I haven't had to pack for travel in awhile, so I decided to take a new ap...

A Thanksgiving Look

Turtleneck  |   Skirt  |   Tights  |   Boots Thanksgiving is only one week away! I am excited to go home, and spend time with my family and friends. This is a holiday that is HARD to dress for. On one hand, you want to wear joggers and a big sweater because of all of the yummy food and treats. On the other hand, you want to dress up, or slightly dress up while still feeling comfy. Hence, the big dressing dilemma: how to create the right look for your kind of holiday? I like to dress it up a little , without wearing a cocktail outfit or gown, haha. I created this look for a dressy, casual look. It is an easy outfit to put together, and I bet you have some similar pieces in your closet! A turtleneck, plaid skirt and tights is such a classic fall look that is also great for this holiday. It is kind of an easy dressing equation too because it is so easy to mix and match what you have in your closet, or buy one new piece that you know will go with an...
