A Very Lilly New Year

Happy 2019!!!



Happy New Year everyone!! I rang in the new year beach side, and what says NYE in Florida more than a Lilly Pulitzer dress?! I got the one I am wearing during the big Lilly sale in September. It is so fun, and has bright pink lobsters all over it! I also love the neck like of this dress because it covers my sun burn ahah!!

We were looking for a place to take some NYE pictures last night, and found this gorgeous condo complex that had a '60's, mod feel to it, and felt so vintage Lilly!!

What I Packed for Rhode Island

  I am SO excited to be back on the East Coast for a bit. Today, we are driving to Rhode Island to spend the long weekend and celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday (thirty, flirting and thriving, right?!). I have only been to Rhode Island on one other occasion, and that was a marching band trip where we marched in the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the country. Thinking back on that, it was a very surreal experience that I am grateful for, and I am even more excited to get to go back to that state and explore as an adult. As soon as I knew we would be going to Rhode Island, I thought about the outfits for the trip. It invoked a sense of the classic East Coast prep style that I already love so much, and so I took that as my packing inspiration! A Thanksgiving Look

Turtleneck  |   Skirt  |   Tights  |   Boots Thanksgiving is only one week away! I am excited to go home, and spend time with my family and friends. This is a holiday that is HARD to dress for. On one hand, you want to wear joggers and a big sweater because of all of the yummy food and treats. On the other hand, you want to dress up, or slightly dress up while still feeling comfy. Hence, the big dressing dilemma: how to create the right look for your kind of holiday? I like to dress it up a little , without wearing a cocktail outfit or gown, haha.
